Agassiz Mounties are looking for help in solving a significant theft at a popular Harrison Hot Springs campground.
Mounties say a steel container at Hicks Lake campground was broken into sometime between Dec. 9 and Jan. 9.
A large Cummins generator and a 150-gallon Tidy Tank were stolen.
RCMP spokesperson Const. Tracy Wolbeck said the generator is worth between $5,000 and $7,000.
She said whoever stole the equipment would have required a large truck.
The generator is used to power a water system at the campsite.
"Although there could be a lengthy time delay between the theft and realizing the theft occurred, we are hoping that someone has information," Wol-beck said.
