Chilliwack Target targeted by thieves

Thousands of dollars worth of electronics was stolen from the Chilliwack Target store late Monday night.

Chilliwack RCMP say a break and enter triggered an alarm at the store at Cottonwood Mall late in the evening Sept. 1.

Upon arrival, Mounties discovered that thieves had forcibly entered and stolen electronics equipment valued at approximately $15,000.

“Police are currently investigating this occurrence, and any information from the public regarding suspicious activity can be helpful,” said RCMP spokesperson Const. Ashley St. Germaine.
