The King's Speech: Colin Firth is wonderful as King George VI, thrust onto the English throne and paralyzed by a hopeless stammer.
The Social Network: The story of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is handled with intelligence, depth and thematic brilliance. You'll never look at your Facebook page the same way again.
Black Swan: This doesn’t look like your typical night at the ballet. Natalie Portman goes over to the dark side in Black Swan.
Inception: This esoteric action flick is the biggest kick of the summer. Leonardo DiCaprio stars as a break-and-enter artist named Cobb -- whose expertise is dreams.
The Fighter: Mark Wahlberg (R) and Christian Bale (L) star in this drama as real-life half-brothers and welterweight boxers, Micky Ward and Dicky Eklund.
Winter's Bone: Jennifer Lawrence plays a young woman who must find her bail-skipping father before the family homestead is repossessed in this crafty piece of mountain gothic from director Debra Granik.
127 Hours: James Franco stars in the story of Aron Ralston, the now-infamous "canyoneer" who became pinned under a boulder for a life-altering 127 hours. Truly one of the best movies of the year, director Danny Boyle promises to make you cry, and queasy, in one breathtaking act of cinema.
Toy Story 3: Buzz and Woody hang out with the devil's own Care Bear, Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, in Toy Story 3.
The Kids are All Right: Julianne Moore, Annette Bening and Mark Ruffalo star in this frequently hilarious, and always human, comedy about two lesbian moms dealing with their kids' desire to know their biological father.
