Calgary family appeals for release of boy
By The Canadian Press
CALGARY - The family of a boy and his grandparents who have disappeared in Calgary wiped away tears as they appealed for the trio's release.
Nathan O'Brien, who is five, was reported missing Monday when his mother went to pick him up after a sleep-over at her parents' home.
Alvin Liknes (LICK'-ness) and his wife Kathy and the boy were not there and police issued an Amber Alert.
Nathan's father, Rod O'Brien, has made an emotional appeal to whoever abducted his son to drop off "their little angel."
He told his son they will bring him home very soon.
Calgary police say they want to speak with anyone who attended an estate sale at the grandparents' home on the weekend.
