Kayle Poirer, a 13-year-old boy who went missing from his First Avenue home at 1 a.m. Monday morning, has been found safe and sound.

Police had put out a press release Tuesday, calling for help to find the teen because it was believed he might have been in medical distress.

"We would like to thank the media and the community who assisted in locating Poirier," RCMP spokesperson Cpl Len vanNieuwenhuizen said in a press release later in the day.
