Two Chilliwack women were arrested after police executed a search warrant on a Margaret Avenue drug house last month.

Acting on information about drug trafficking at the residence in the 46000 block of Margaret Avenue, police went to the house on Feb. 27 and found the doors barricaded.

A search then located various amounts of crack cocaine, heroin and crystal methamphetamine.

Drug trafficking paraphernalia, stolen property and stolen identification were also seized.

The identification cards belonged to residents of Chilliwack and the Lower Mainland and police say efforts are under way to contact victims so they can safeguard against fraud and identity theft.

A 23-year-old woman and 49-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and will appear in Chilliwack court at a later date on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property.

The City of Chilliwack has posted a no occupancy notice on the residence.
