Police are looking for information after an interrupted break-and-enter of a home on Promontory early Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on April 15, Chilliwack RCMP officers responded to Lindeman Street where a resident had observed a suspicious green SUV.

The resident went to where the vehicle was parked and spoke to the occupants. When the occupants were told that the police had been called, they fled the area in the green SUV and struck the resident’s vehicle in the process.

One of the suspects is described as a Caucasian male, approximately six feet tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds.

Police later determined that a residence had been broken into on Lindeman Street and various items were stolen from the home.

Police are asking anyone who may have knowledge of this incident to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
