Ex-DPAC vice-president faces another charge in Chilliwack Court
Failed Chilliwack school-board candidate Corey Neyrinck faces yet another criminal charge for breaching conditions while in custody.
Neyrinck, who also served as vice-president of the district parents’ advisory council (DPAC), faces six sex-related charges, including sexual assault, sexual interference of a person under 16, making or publishing child pornography and possession of child pornography.
A publication ban prevents the details of the charges from being reported.
Neyrinck is also charged with violating his bail conditions after he was arrested on the sex charges. He had his bail revoked earlier in the month, and appeared via video link in Chilliwack Court Tuesday morning yet again.
The Crown has filed yet another breach charge against Neyrinck for contacting someone related to the alleged victim from jail.
Neyrinck already has two trial dates scheduled to deal with the first two breach charges, and was in court this week to schedule a date for the sex charges. That was put over to June 30 to allow him to speak to his new lawyer.
