Downtown Chilliwack continues to be a busy spot for property crime, according to the RCMP's latest hotspot bulletin.
Mounties say the downtown core experienced seven auto thefts, three business break-and-enters, five residential break-and-enters and four thefts from vehicles between Christmas Eve and Jan. 6.
The Luckakuck Way area also saw several property crimes during that time period. Three vehicles were stolen, and three thefts-from-vehicles, two business break-and-enters and one residential break-and-enter were reported.
Garrison Village was another hot spot, albeit less active than the other two. Three auto thefts and two break-and-enters were reported.
