My goodness, John Martin who writes under the Crime Matters banner in the Chilliwack Times, certainly doesn't like Christy Clark, nor the Liberal Party of Canada, nor the BC Liberal Party, does he? But nothing new there.

What is especially sad about his column "No shortage of post-riot phoniness (Times, June 28)" is that not once does this criminologist at the University of the Fraser Valley offer up any ideas or suggestions of how the issue of the riot be dealt with. Nothing, nada, zilch. Just a carping diatribe about Liberals of both provincial and federal stripes, and the fact that he doesn't like Christy Clark wearing a Canuck's jersey. Maybe he thinks all the rioters were closet Liberals as well.

Pity that this criminologist/columnist couldn't offer anything better.
