Andrew Christopher launches new CD Dec. 1 with a party at Corky's
Andrew Christopher of Pardon My Striptease has been busking in Vancouver and it motivated him to record a solo CD.

Andrew Christopher spent the summer and fall making his living as a busker on Granville Island.
He says other buskers told him his music is "above average" for those playing on the streets.
"Some people really responded to it," he told the Times. "It was my main income for a while and that's what started my solo career from the band."
Christopher is the lead singer of Chilliwack band Pardon My Striptease.
But while his journey into the world of busking showed him he was good and could make money he was missing something: a CD.
"I saw everyone else had a CD they were selling," he said.
So with his own songs, he got help from Pardon My Striptease guitarist Brendan Woodroff, who helped him record his solo efforts in Woodroff's home studio.
Now Christopher is launching his CD, Gone, at a party at Corky's on Dec. 1. He'll be playing all the tracks from the CD live as well as a set of cover songs for everyone to sing and dance to.
Asked to describe his solo music, Christopher said it's acoustic and more laid back than Pardon My Stripease.
"Some of it is almost a bit country, a bit folky," he said.
He compares the style to singer-songwriters like Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz.
