Chilliwack's Fusion Athletics cheer squads posted solid results at last weekend's All Things Cheer Championship competition at Heritage Park.

Fusion's junior squad led the way. Inspired by a pair of injured teammates, the cheerleaders claimed first prize and the Grand Champion title.

The club's youth squad nearly matched their older counterparts. They finished second place losing by just one point to the victors.

The club's mini team performed a clean routine to finish ninth.

The seniors had a rough time but worked hard and left with heads up high and a ninth-place showing.

The Fr3nzy team battled through injuries to claim seventh place.

Those injuries also forced Fusion's F4 squad to perform in a non-compete category, where they entertained but didn't vie for a medal.
