RESULTS FROM FINAL ICEBREAKER
The Chilliwack Centre of Excellence held its final Icebreaker race last weekend and saw Avery Wilkins battle through the elements to claim the overall cadet championship.
Other victors included Isabel Taylor, who claimed the win in the women's cadet class, and Sam Fletcher, who won the men's junior class.
Victory in the hotly contested masters series was claimed by Darcy Wilkins, with two firsts and a second during the three-week series.
FUSION AT MARDI PARTY
Chilliwack's Fusion cheerleaders posted solid results at the Mardi Party competition in Richmond last weekend.
Months of hard work for the club's F3 Frenzy squad finally paid off with a first place result.
Fusion's senior Force squad, and junior and mini teams, all claimed second place at the event. And the club's F4 team also found themselves on the podium with a third-place showing.
U-15 GOLD CLAIM GOLD
Chilliwack FC's U-15 Gold boys soccer squad claimed gold after winning the district cup final recently.
The Chilliwack boys beat defending champion Langley United 3-1 in Aldergrove on Feb. 23.
Stephen Carter, Mark Lindsey and Kyle Stuart scored for Chilliwack while Daniel Cecchi provided solid goaltending for CFC.
The win moves the Chilliwack boys onto the Coastal Cup in April for a chance to win a spot in the provincials.
