Chilliwack Chiefs defenceman Cooper Rush is one of eight British Columbia Hockey League skaters in the NHL Central Scouting Services midterm rankings.
Rush was ranked 132 among North American skaters by the CSS.
The six-foot-seven defence-man boasts a cannon of a slapshot and has posted three goals, three assists and 48 penalty minutes in 34 games for the Chiefs so far this year.
Adam Tambellini, who was traded last week by the Vernon Vipers to the Surrey Eagles, is the highest ranked BCHL skater, at the No. 62 spot.
