The Sardis senior boys basketball team clinched second place in the Fraser Valley East Division last week by winning two regular season games.

The Falcons defeated a tough Abbotsford Collegiate team 84-59 Wednesday.

They were led by Cam Servatius-who had his best offensive game of the season with 20 points-and Mike Gregory with 18 points.

Eric Rogers and Hayden Lejeune also put in double-digit performances for the Falcons, and Grayden Northey came off the bench to hit two big three pointers.

On Thursday Sardis took down cross-town rivals Chilliwack 71-41, improving their record to 6-1.

The Falcons, who are currently honourable mentions in AAA provincial rankings, wrapped up their regular season Monday against Yale (no score was available by press time) and begin their hunt for one of the Fraser Valley's three provincial championship berths Thursday against MEI.
