After a slow start at the 2013 BC High School Curling Championships, the Kirsten Zucchet-skipped Chilliwack secondary rink rallied to dominate their final five games and claim second spot behind North Delta's Seaquam secondary.

The CSS girls finished with an impressive 5-2 record over the three-day event and secured the highest placing for CSS in this event since 1993.

Zucchet was joined on the team by third Cailin Cooke, second Everly Royea and lead Jasmin Jani. Coach Doreen Jones and assistant coach Stephanie Prinse said they are proud of the progress the team made since getting together last fall. Zucchet and Cooke will head north this weekend to play in the Juvenile Provincial Championships in Prince George. Zucchet will play third and Cooke will play second on a team coached by Chilliwack Curling Club manager Bruce Renwick.
