The Chilliwack Chiefs suffered another poor second period en route to a 3-2 loss to the Coquitlam Express Wednesday at Prospera Centre.

The Chiefs outshot the Express 16-5 in the first period and Spencer Graboski scored his sixth goal the year to open the scoring.

But Chilliwack could only muster the lone goal, and Coquitlam showed up to play in the second.

Brandon Morley scored a shorthanded goal five minutes into the period to tie the game. And a pair of goals three minutes apart midway through the frame gave the Express all the offence they would need heading into the third.

Trevor Hills pulled Chilliwack to within a goal with 1:59, but the Chiefs couldn't put anymore pucks past Coquitlam netminder Cole Huggins, who made 44 saves on the night.
