The Chilliwack Fraser Rotary Club is looking for old TVs-lots of them.

The club is gearing up for its fourth annual Swing Into Spring fundraiser, and this year's theme is "As Seen On TV."

On Feb. 23, Evergreen Hall will be decorated in all things television, and guests will come dressed as their favourite TV personalities.

To set the set the stage for the event, organizers are looking for 50 to 100 used TVs.

"Working or not, big or small. Evergreen Hall is a big place, and we need to fill it with TVs" said Fieny van den Boom, co-chair of the fundraising committee.

The good news for Chilliwack residents is that not only will Rotarians haul away all their old and clunky TV sets, they will recycle them all after the event.

"This is a great way to help the community and the environment with out breaking a sweat," van den Boom said.

And all the funds raised on Feb. 23 will support the Chilliwack Fraser Rotary's continued pledge to the University of the Fraser Valley for three dental operatories.
